The award-winning company — active in the development of commercial and residential land since 1985 — is up for two different categories for its The Nottawasaga design, part of the company’s Windfall at Blue development, including Best Detached Production Home (1,800-2,100 square feet) and New Home Spaces.

The annual competition recognizes the best in Canada in new homes, home renovations, community development and residential marketing. Georgian International was part of a record 800 entries from eight provinces, featuring a variety of big city and small town housing types.
The competition categories include a wide range of housing types: from single-family homes to high-rises, and entry-level homes to luxury custom builds. Entries also include houses built for rental and ownership.
Entries were judged by a panel of nearly 200 industry experts, who reviewed images, floor plans and project descriptions to select the best entries in each category.
“From innovative design to incredible renovation transformations to carefully planned communities, this year’s finalists are an impressive representation of the incredible work done by Canada’s homebuilding industry, which is made up of small family businesses as well as than big companies,” CHBA Chief Executive Kevin Lee said in a press release.
