Dish launches professional smart home installation service

OnTech Smart Services is Dish’s new direct-to-consumer brand that offers professional installation, configuration and training of a variety of smart home devices.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Dish announces the launch of a new direct-to-consumer brand, OnTech Smart Services.

The installation service, which was initially rolled out to new buyers last year as part of KB Home’s KB Smart Home system, is in competition with Team of geeks and Amazon Smart Home Services, providing a wider range of consumers with professional installation, setup and training on a variety of smart home devices.

This isn’t Dish’s first attempt to provide this kind of service to consumers. In addition to its involvement with KB Home, it launched its Smart Home services to customers of its satellite TV service in 2011, expanding its offerings to include TV editing, surround sound and home networking.

In 2015, Select Dish Smart Home Services launched on Amazon Marketplace. Now, with the introduction of OnTech Smart Services, Dish is further expanding its reach and offering an even wider assortment of products and services.

OnTech Smart Services offers Google Nest, Ring, Yale, and more.

Some of the products offered to OnTech customers include Google Nest, Ring, Linksys, Wemo, Roku, Yale, Polk Audio, Klipsch Audio, and Linksys Velop Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi System.

Consumers can purchase these and other smart home products and services online directly at OnTechSmartServices.com and schedule same-day delivery and installation appointments.

Appointments include one-on-one training from a professional technician on how to use and customize their new smart home products.

The service also includes TV mounting, power relocation, fishing line, cable management, digital TV antenna installation and more.
