Last Call – Registration for the 2022 WADA Athlete Symposium and Session

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) encourages stakeholders to register for its Annual Colloquium 2022who will be will be held on June 11 and 12 in a hybrid manner, in person at the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne, Switzerland, and virtually. A dedicated Athlete session will take place on June 13 at the same location.

Under the theme “Elevate the Gamethe annual symposium will once again bring together anti-doping practitioners from international federations, national and regional anti-doping organizations and major event organizations, athletes and athlete representatives, governments, WADA-accredited laboratories and Athlete Passport Management Units, as well as other stakeholders such as service providers, researchers and the media – all of this is an integral part of clean sport.

As indicated in the program, this year’s edition will specifically explore how we can together advance the fight against doping for the benefit of athletes around the world. This will include a mix of plenary and breakout sessions, as well as discussions on some of the innovations being developed in the fight against doping.

Session dedicated to athletes on June 13

Led by WADA’s Athlete Committee, an Athlete-only and Athlete Representative session will take place on 13 June with the next agenda. Anti-Doping Organizations are requested to encourage the participation of their sports representatives. For those who cannot make it to Lausanne, we strongly encourage virtual participation which is free for athletes.

WADA is committed to ensuring the health and safety of its stakeholder community and Agency staff who will attend the Symposium in person. We will therefore continue to monitor the evolution of the pandemic and base our safety protocols on the directives of public health authorities related to COVID-19.
