PRNS Grants Team
|Background:||The City of San José’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) is now accepting applicants for qualifying applications for its Elderly Health and Welfare (SHW) Grants program.
The SHW Grants Program aims to provide accessible, quality programs at service points throughout the city with the aim of reducing social isolation and improving the health and well-being of San José residents aged from 60 years and over. Here are some examples of activities funded through SHW:
Interested agencies are invited to attend a pre-application workshop to learn more about qualification requirements and the application process. It is strongly recommended that all applicants attend the application workshop. Qualified agencies will be placed on a list of eligible service providers. The City will select agencies from the list of eligible service providers to distribute grant funds on an annual basis.
Deadline for submitting applications Friday August 13, 2021 at 4 p.m.
If you have any additional questions about the SHW grant or the application process, please email Holly Truong at [email protected] by August 9, 2021.
