OBIE Awards Presented at the Annual Atlanta Home Builders Gala

The results arrived. Members of Atlanta’s homebuilding community were invited and dined at the 41st Annual OBIE Awards Gala Saturday night at the Georgia Aquarium.

Community of the Year 2021 winners include Empire Communities, which took home the award for Best Townhouse Community for its colorful Paintbox development in Kirkwood.

Harrison Homes, meanwhile, won first prize in the category of isolated communities for Brookhaven Commons in Dunwoody.

Trilith Development won the mixed-use category for Trilith, a new town in Fayetteville that caters to members of the Atlanta film industry.

Artisan Built Communities’ Naturewalk project in Seven Hills won the master plan category.

For developments aimed at 55+, McKinney Builders’ Gardens at Arbor Springs in Newnan won the highest honor.

Finally, Loren Homes won the 20 units or less category for its Veridian community in Woodstock.
