Parade of Houses arrives in Chippewa Valley June 12-19

CLEAR WATER (WQOW) – This weekend, 17 new homes will be available for a tour through the Chippewa Valley.

The homes are part of the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association Parade of Homes which runs June 12-19.

There will be 14 new houses, 2 remodeled houses and a virtual house to visit.

The homes feature a mix of modern trends and range in value from $ 170,000 to $ 750,000.

This is the first time that the Parade of Homes will offer a virtual tour option to builders.

“The virtual tour allows the builder to showcase the house where maybe the owners don’t want people to pass by the house. The owners want to be able to move in, so it allows the builders to be able to showcase their house as part of the parade in to some extent, ”said Christina Thrun, executive director of the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association.

The virtual tour of the house is accessible with a ticket, and these tickets are available for the duration of the parade of houses.

Tickets are available for $ 8 until June 11, after June 11 tickets are $ 10 and can be purchased here.

Ticket holders can have a chance to win one of six packages if they participate in the treasure hunt along the parade. They can also vote for their favorite house in the “People’s Choice”.
